Vacation Rental Policies & Procedures

RENTAL PAYMENT POLICIES:  An Initial Reservation Deposit of $400.00 is due at time of booking.  Balance of rental stay is due 30 days prior to your arrival.  If your reservation is made within 30 days of your arrival your reservation stay is due in full at time of booking.  No refunds will be given for early departures.   Payments may be made by cash, traveler's checks, bank money orders, credit cards (MC, VISA or Discover) or personal check with proper identification. 


Travel Protection Insurance:  Shoreline Towers has partnered with CSA Insurance Company to offer our guests Travel Protection Insurance.   With CSA's Travel Protection, you may be covered during your entire vacation stay and during your travel to and from your destination.  We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.  Should you have a major medical issue or experience trip interruption due to unforeseen developments such as illness, natural disaster, etc. ... you may be covered by contacting CSA through their claims process department at 866-999-4018.  Guests may purchase Travel Insurance up to the date the final rent payment is due.  At locations where the final rent payment is due on arrival insurance payments must be made at time of booking.   Guests opting not to purchase the Travel Insurance should be aware that no refunds will be available; therefore your entire trip investment could be lost.   The Travel Protection Insurance fee is non-refundable after a 10 day grace period and is typically 6.95% of your total rental amount.   Visit the website  Click Here for details.  

Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan  -   Accidents occur all the time, so we do require a Security Deposit per stay.   The deposit is to protect the property from any accidental damage that may occur during your stay.   We offer two options and you must choose one before you can complete your reservation. 

Option 1:  A $500 refundable Security Deposit will be added to your reservation at time of booking.  The final payment for your rental stay is due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.  The rental management company will refund your Security Deposit once the property is checked and no damage has occurred.   Refunds normally take 5 - 7 business days to go back on your card depending on your banking institution. 

Option 2:  Instead of the $500 refundable Security Deposit Option 2 allows you to purchase for a non-refundable $45.00 a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Any damages that exceed  $3000.00 or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy, www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g20vrd.  The Vacation Rental Damage plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly to Shoreline Towers Association Realty, Inc. any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Shoreline Towers Association Realty, Inc.  directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment. Again, if you chose not to purchase the $45.00 Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan with $3000.00 in coverage a $500.00 damage deposit is required at time of final payment.

Minimum Night Charge: Reservations obtained under false pretenses will not be honored, and will be subject to loss of entire deposit and rent paid. Minimum night stays and date ranges are notated above. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation prior to 30 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00 and the administration fee plus tax of $61.05 which is non-refundable. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival are subject to no refund of the deposit unless the space is resold. Neither early departure nor late arrival warrants a refund or discount.

Eviction Policy: Reservations obtained under false pretenses will not be honored, and will be subject to the loss of  the entire deposit and rent paid. Certain other restrictions may apply over holiday periods. 

No-Show Policy: In the event the renter fails to cancel their reservation and does not show, a maximum fee of 3 nights rental will be charged in addition to the loss of the $400 security deposit.

Registration Policy: No one under the age of 25 is allowed to rent a unit. Each unit must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 25, and they must be residing in the unit for the duration of the stay. Occupancy is limited to: 2 Bedroom - 6 persons / 3 Bedroom - 8 persons.

Under 25/Spring Break Policy:  We will rent to no single groups under the age of 25 unless accompanied by 2 parents or legal guardians for every 4 guests under 25 and a $1000 damage deposit. We reserve the right to check ID’s and refuse admittance to our condos. Both parents must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental properties are monitored for violations of this policy. All Violators will be evicted with all rental monies being forfeited and additional charges may apply. Reservations made under false pretenses are null and void and all rental monies are forfeited. Discourteous behavior or excessive noise may result in eviction of premises without refund. 

Disclosure: We reserve the right, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, to reassign a unit other than the unit reserved. Every attempt will be made to provide a substitute unit of like kind and quality.

Boat Trailers:  If you are bringing a boat trailer, oversized vehicle, jetski, or a boat, you must notify our office to make sure Shoreline Towers can accommodate the size of your vehicle you are bringing. 

Non-smoking:  All our units are non-smoking. If evidence of smoking is found in your unit after departure you will be charged for sanitizing the room. 

No Pet Policy: You will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and flea spray should evidence of a pet be found. You may also be asked to leave the property or remove the pet immediately.
