Paddle at the Park Saturday Event

I have personally never been to this event but man does it sound like a blast! I love to people watch in general, so this sounds like the place to be on a Saturday. Although in a different location, this will be their 9th year having this event here in Destin.

Its being held on Saturday the 21st at the wonderful Henderson Beach State park, it's beautiful out there.

The major races will begin at 9am, so you will want to head out there early to see them start. You can have a nice day out on the beach while watching these guys tough it out for first and second place.

The lesser races will begin at 1030am and there will even be a fun kids race for kids 12 and under at 11am.

Another great part of this event is that there will be food and drinks available out there. Henderson Beach park does not normally have those amenities down there, so it really is a privelage to have food so conveniently close to the beach.
