4th of July Fun in Destin, Florida

July 4^th is a big weekend for Destin, Florida. It’s summer and everyone wants to celebrate at their favorite white sand beach. July 4^th lands on a Thursday this year, making it a four-day weekend full of fun in the sun! Check out these popular 4^th of July events around town.

On Wednesday, July 3^rd, from 5:00-9:00pm, Destin Commons presents the 9^th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival. Enjoy family entertainment and live music along with $1 samples of delicious BBQ. Area restaurants and BBQ groups will be serving up famous BBQ dishes in hopes for your vote. Over $85,000 in donations will go to benefit local charities. End the evening with fireworks galore!

On Thursday, July 4^th, at 8:00am, join South Walton for the annual 4^th of July Parade down Scenic Highway 30-A. The parade begins in Seagrove Beach and travels down 30A to Seaside. Stick around for awards presentations, face painting, and more!

Later that day, from 7:00-10:00pm, head to the Destin Harbor for a 4^th of July celebration! Dance the night away to live music from Eli Hannon and The Manly Hero from 7:00-9:00pm. Enjoy fireworks at 9:00pm as well as Fire spinning at 9:30pm.
