This New Year is off to a great start! There’s no better way to celebrate new beginnings than on the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida. If you are looking for a place to ring in the New Year, look no further. Here are some of our favorite New Year’s celebration spots in Destin, Florida! 

HarborWalk Village invites you to dine, drink and dance the New Year’s night away. Restaurants will be open with live music as well as two fireworks shows over the Gulf of Mexico. Of Course, you won’t want to miss the 9th Annual Ball Drop descending over the Harbor! 

The Village of Baytowne Wharf hosts the annual Baytowne Count Down! A family celebration starts at 6pm with face painting, kid’s activities and live music from DJ 30A. One of two firework displays will begin at 8pm. Then put the kids to bed and dance the night away with live music from Bantum Rooster and the second fireworks show beginning at midnight. Baytowne will have you counting down to an unforgettable New Year’s Celebration! 

AJ’s on the Destin Harbor invites you to party like it’s 2018! This New Year’s celebration includes a special menu, party favors, a champagne toast and two fireworks shows over the harbor at 8pm and Midnight. Live music from Jones and Company will kick things off at 4pm, then party all night with Black Eyed Blonde!  

You might decide to throw your own New Year’s bash in your Destin beachfront condo. After all, you have great views of the fireworks from your balcony and you can choose who you’d like to start the new year with. The key to a lively New Year’s party is fun friends, fabulous food and festive cocktails. Here’s one of our favorite holiday cocktail recipes to help you get the party started! 

Midnight Kiss Cocktail

Mix ¾ ounce of your favorite vodka with ¼ ounce of Blue Curacao, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into champagne flutes and top with champagne.
