Springtime brings so many opportunities to the Emerald Coast. It’s a time to get back to the beach, a time to enjoy arts festivals and live music outdoors. It’s a time to peruse booths trying magnificent wines. Here’s a little taste of one of our favorite wine festivals in April.

The 30th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival is held at the Village of Baytowne Wharf on April 15th through the 17th, 2016. With three full days of unique wine events attendees will have every opportunity to experience wine tasting to the full. Here are a few reasons why this event was named “Best Annual Event” by Destin Magazine.

The Champagne & Seafood Voyage event begins on Friday, April 15th from 12:00-3:00pm. Enjoy a seafood cruise complete with pairing menu aboard the Solaris at the Baytowne Marina. The Mind, Body, Beach event begins Saturday, April 16th at 9:00am. Spa Sandestin invites all fitness levels to enjoy Yoga and a mimosa while taking in the beautiful views of our Destin beaches. Participants will be saying Namaste all the way to the main event.

On Friday, April 15th from 5:00-8:00pm and Saturday, April 16th, from 1:00-5:00pm The Grand Wine Tasting Event takes place. Opportunities to taste from hundreds of domestic and international wines will present themselves under big white tents in the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Wine makers from all over the world as well as those representing their vineyards will be present to answer questions and give insight on styles and pricing.

The festival’s fabulous finale takes place on Sunday, April 17th from 10:00am-2:00pm. Brunch on the Bay at the Marina Bar & Grill in the Village will be serving an exquisite Sunday Brunch. An endless pour of sangrias, margaritas and mimosas along with live music will be the perfect conclusion for this three day event. Make plans to spend some time on the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida in a gulf front condo during spring.
