Well, The Condo is in need of an update. However, we had a grand time. Destin is by far a wonderful vacation, we love to go and just relax on the balcony and spend time with our friends. This condo., is not a grand luxurious condo, even though you might want it to be, it's not- it needs a remodel but, I'm not complaining because I was in Destin with Good Friends, Beautiful Water, Good Food, and a place to sleep and relax. We really love Shoreline Towers period because of the Ease of Access to the Beach, the Rental Chair people that are there and we can rely on to have our spot and we know the place, every year. Just be prepared that it's not an updated condo. We Love You Shoreline and we named the Master Suite, "The Liberace Master Bedroom!"

Well, The Condo is in need of an update. However, we had a grand time. Destin is by far a wonderful vacation, we love to go and just relax on the balcony and spend time with our friends. This condo., is not a grand luxurious condo, even though you might want it to be, it's not- it needs a remodel but, I'm not complaining because I was in Destin with Good Friends, Beautiful Water, Good Food, and a place to sleep and relax. Some of the reviews I read, before I booked this, had me a little nervous. It was completely unwarranted! Yes, this condo is a a throwback to my teen years, however, it was clean and had everything my family needed for an amazing week at the beach. It was clean, well-stocked, the staff was awesome, and the location can’t be beat. We took our 3 (20ish) kids who have all left the nest (college and military) and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space but all come together as a family and hang out too. Our 20 year old daughter took the front bedroom, which I think originally was intended to be the master but only has a full bed. It’s quite extravagant... she laughed a said she felt like she was at the Palace of Versailles. Overall, a fantastic vacation- we would definitely go back!

We have been coming to SLT for years. This is the first time to stay in this unit. It is very spacious and the view is amazing!! However, you feel like you have stepped in a time warp. Needs some major renovations

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit in Tower 1, mainly due to the A/C which works beautifully compared to other units at Shoreline Towers. It is a large 3 bedroom and 3 bath unit that has a beautiful view of the water. The unit is truly in need of some renovations including updating the bathrooms, fixing the fringe on the throw rugs so you don't trip in the hallway, getting new carpet so you don't step on the exposed carpet tack strips in the master bath, fixing handles on furniture, fixing the leaking fridge, getting more eating utensils so we didn't have to wash them by hand after each use, and updating the kitchen. The couch has built in recliners, which is awesome, but the vinyl is peeling off on it. We have been staying at Shoreline Towers since the 1980's and will continue to do so because of the beautiful beach, wonderful chair attendants on the beach and you can't beat the location. This unit also comes with an assigned parking spot in the parking garage which is nice to have during the busy season or when it is pouring down rain! I would definitely give this unit 5 stars if it were updated.

Loved sitting on the deck watching dolphins in the morning and then the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Wonderful staff. Well manicured grounds. This particular unit could use some "TLC" with paint, and better functioning plumbing in the bathrooms. Also, some more lighting in the living room (overhead in particular).

Good stay

This was our second stay in this unit. First was two years ago at the same Christmas week. The few problems are the same. The hot water faucet valves in master bath squall and wall paper is loose in spots, balcony floor covering torn in spots, this year guest bath toilet flapper had to be replaced. The dinning area ceiling AC registers need cleaning or paint. The master bed pad slips off and one blanket needs replacing. These are are all minor problems that detract from a otherwise really fine place to stay. Would still be happy to rent it again as is for our next family visit. Family of six have plenty of room. Great decor and view.

We stay at Shoreline Towers 1-2 times per year

We tried a new condo at Shoreline Towers, Unit 1122, which is a 3BR, 3BA with beautiful beach front views. First!!! This condo has the BEST A/C out of any that we have stayed in for the past 30 years! It really keeps the condo cool, which has been a big complaint for many of the other condo units. We stayed in the back bedroom with the king bed where it was much cooler than the front room with the canopy over the bed. The interior of the unit is very ornate and may not be to everyone's liking, but it's comfortable (see the pics on their website). The kitchen and all bathrooms are in much need of remodeling, as cabinet door knobs are missing, toilet paper roll holders are broken, mildew seen in the edges of the tub and showers, tub drain not working, etc. We've stayed in many, many other condos at Shoreline Towers, over the past 30 years, that are remodeled and updated, but their A/C units were horrible and we stayed hot and uncomfortable all night long. We would stay in this unit again in a heartbeat, because we slept cool and comfortable all night long and that is more important to us than the interior decorations! We would like to see this unit provide Free Beach Setup like many of the other units. Also, you DO get covered parking with this unit, but it's very tricky parking a large car in their designated spot.

Have been staying on this property off and on for 30 years. Very hard to beat the beach view and access. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Have been staying on this property off and on for 30 years. Very hard to beat the beach view and access. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Place is amazing. Could use some updates but definitely not a deal breaker. Has everything you need. Lots of space! Very comfortable. Don't get why the king isn't in the master but not a deal breaker. The views are amazing! Only complaint was we got there minutes after the office closed so it took over an hour to get in our room because our door required a code and a key and we were only given the key not the code. The security guy was very frustrated but ended up figuring it out. Over all will definitely be back again!!

This was one of the best trips to the beach by way of this condo. The view was amazing from the balcony and the west bedroom that could be a master. The place was very roomy with plenty of sleeping space. Kitchen was great with double oven, cooktop and griddle with plenty of dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommended!!
