In my view, we stayed at one of the best places that is directly on the beach in Destin. This was our third stay at Shoreline Towers and the facility never disappoints. The condo unit was in great shape and the view of the ocean was perfect. I could not think of anything that would have made our stay any better.

We really enjoyed staying in unit 1102. The furniture is comfortable and there is pretty much everything you will need for the week aside from cleaning items and food items. One thing I wish the unit had was just a few cleaning supplies like glass cleaner and a dustpan. The office staff is wonderful and so helpful. My only real complaint is the elevator situation. This building needs new elevators and I am sure this is on management's list of needs.

Very clean rental with a wonderful view. Very big bed rooms, 2 baths, front room was big with a great view of the ocean. Patio had nice furniture "same as I have at home". Both bedrooms had nice views of the ocean, which is what I was looking for. When we return will definetly try and get the same room.

We were not disappointed! Check-In was a breeze and the condo unit was just as pictured on the website. We had a gorgeous beach front view from the balcony. The outdoor furniture was comfortable to enjoy morning coffee while watching dolphins, surf fishing and boats leaving the harbor.
We were so happy with the free beach set up, Daniel and Mandy took such great care of us the entire week!
Most of our time was spent outside but our late evenings offered a comfy sectional sofa and a kitchen filled with everything we needed. The bedrooms offered great views from the windows and bathrooms were as pictured.
We loved our stay at Shoreline and will be recommending this property to our friends. We enjoyed local fresh seafood and excellent service at several restaurants.
We look forward to a return trip and would stay at this unit again in a heartbeat!

Long Time Renter at Shoreline for Over 35 years

We love, love, love Shoreline Towers and have for over 35 years. We have stayed in this condo two times. It has all the necessary items for a great week at the beach. The washing machine needs a thorough cleaning to get rid of the mold that is highly visible and the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced due to two huge "sink holes", but other than that, this condo is highly recommended. The umbrella and chair service that is included is awesome and the managers of that service, Daniel and Mandy, always take such great care of you.

We have stayed at Shoreline Towers in Destin for over 30+ years because of the location, friendly guests and the gorgeous beach. Check-In was a breeze and the staff was so welcoming, as always! We decided to try a different condo unit this year and we were pleasantly surprised. It had a gorgeous view of the beach and is currently being updated. It has a very comfy new sectional couch, new carpet, and a new entertainment center. It also had new sheets on the king size bed that were "brand new out of the package", as the creases were still in the sheets and pillow cases, and they were extremely scratchy and stiff, but after two washings, we could tolerate them. The kitchen is updated and is well stocked with everything you might need. The master bedroom does not cool down like the rest of the condo, even with the curtains closed all day and with the ceiling fan on high, but this is how most of the other condo units we have stayed in Shoreline Towers have been. The balcony has really nice outdoor furniture with comfortable cushions, unlike the other units with inexpensive plastic chairs. The bathrooms have older tubs/showers, but that is no big deal to us! We were so happy with the free beach set up and Daniel (at the beach) took such great care of us the entire week! We would stay at this unit again in a heartbeat! One of the nicest ones we have come across! We were going to try and book it again for September, but it looks like the entire month is booked up already!

This is our 4th year staying at Shoreline Towers and first time in unit 1102. This unit has a nicely updated, fully-furnished kitchen that's open to the main living area. The only drawbacks to this unit are the beds. They are absolutely terrible and are some of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on. Other than that it has a killer view of the beach from all rooms. If the mattresses were better I would not hesitate to recommend this room, but at this point I will not.

It was absolutely everything I was hoping and expecting it to be. There were a few maintenance issues but nothing that impaired my stay. The condo was exactly like the pics depicted and was clean. The location and observation of the ocean and beach were fabulous. The only REAL issue I had, which I just tolerated, was the unit above us smoked on the patio, and being a non smoker I didn't like it when I was out there. Also, late at night, around 11 pm, the unit would move furniture around both inside and out. But while irritating, it did not ruin my vacation. I LOVED IT.

It was absolutely everything I was hoping and expecting it to be. There were a few maintenance issues but nothing that impaired my stay. The condo was exactly like the pics depicted and was clean. The location and observation of the ocean and beach were fabulous. The only REAL issue I had, which I just tolerated, was the unit above us smoked on the patio, and being a non smoker I didn't like it when I was out there. Also, late at night, around 11 pm, the unit would move furniture around both inside and out. But while irritating, it did not ruin my vacation. I LOVED IT.

This unit was very clean, comfortable, and up to date. We had a 10 month old, 23 year old, and two 30-somethings and were very comfortable. Here are a few details for those looking for specifics:
The green chair in the master is a rocking chair if you have littles who need to be rocked.
The kitchen was very well stocked for anything you might need for storage or cooking. PLEASE put instructions on how to turn the digital oven OFF! We had 2 advanced college degrees and had to use the power breaker to turn off the oven. We eventually figured it out, but a little notecard with instructions would've been helpful!
The master bedroom stays warmer than the rest of the condo. We packed a small fan and it helped a lot. Keeping the curtains closed as much as possible helps, but then your view is blocked.
The washer and dryer are frontloaders. They worked fine, but the washer did have mildew collecting by the door and needs to be cleaned.
We personally never had issues with the elevators. BUT there was an elderly man who fell and was injured when it opened too far below floor level and there was a huge step up to get out. Then there was a storm and the power went out trapping my father and brother-in-law in the elevator. Both instances were tended to quickly by the staff.
The location is perfect. Walking distance to Target, Winn Dixie, several restaurants, Walgreens, and a Texaco.
We would stay in this condo again for sure!

All was fine. Check in/out very easy. Unit in good repair. Good appliances. Beds fine. A few nitpicky points:
1. Unit was consistently warm/hot. A/C only allowed setting temp to 70 as a lowest temp. Despite keeping doors closed and blinds closed (weren't we there for the view??) temp in the master bedroom hovered around 80. The only time it would reach the low 70's was in the early morning hours (4 or 5 am). We slept with only a sheet every night. For almost $300/night, this was suboptimal. Maintenance said A/C working fine, ie live with it. Have not had this problem in other units.
2. This unit used to be decorated more colorfully. Now it is sparsely decorated and is painted a generic white like a cheap apartment.
3. Bed sheets were very rough/felt cheap. Didn't bother me, but my wife found it unpleasant, especially on sunburned skin.
4. Upon check in, couldn't connect to the internet. No help in office avlbl Sunday. Couldn't get hold of maintenance. Maintenance too busy Monday to help. I believe this was the case Tuesday as well. Finally got the modem reset Wednesday and all worked fine. Again, for $300/night, this was suboptimal.

I know when maintenance came up they reported back to me that it was pumping out cool air to its full capacity but with the extreme heat that week (heat index over 100) but it was tough cooling. We are also sorry that you had problems with your wifi. A representative from our rental company is on property 7 days a week and would have been very happy to assist you if you had gotten in touch with them. The balcony furniture was great and we spent a lot of time there. The only issue was with the exterior sliding screen doors are old and don't work well. We didn't use them and had no insect problems. Maintenance responding promptly when one slider came off the track. The web site description and photos were good representations of the unit. We would definitely return. We were disappointed that Shoreline has no recycling.
